Victoria school Kite Experience Day
The first of this years Victoria School Kite Experience Day's was held on 24th June 2014
The day started with us making some kites in school with the young students (the youngest was just 3 years old!!). These were really fun as the students were able to colour them themselves and then with the help of Gary and Rhys the kites were assembled.
We then headed to Baiter park to fly the kites the students had made and have a go on a powerkite. Everyone was a little nervous as there was no wind forecast. After lunch in the glorious sunshine a light breeze allowed us to get the kites in the air and all the young students managed to have a go flying their kites and the powerkite.
All the students had a fantastic day and thank you to mother nature for the sunshine and a gentle breeze.
