Well it's almost Christmas day. What year. Its been a roller-coaster of happiness and sad loss.
It started with the highs of setting up a charity and the launch at the Sandbanks Hotel something that was quite amazing and memorable, especially for the support from Cabriniha, King Of Watersports and the Watersports Accadamy to name a few.
Then the unthinkable happened, we lost a friend, colleague and sensational talent, our graphics designer Josh Taylor. His work shaped the image of KiteRight and is something we hold close to our hearts. His name, his memory and phenomenal skill and personality lives strong in his iconic designs.
We have made new friends, developed new networks received donations, Grants and kind messages of support from all over the world.
We trained the worlds first paraplegic kite instructors. No mean feat for a small start-up charity.
But nothing could have been achieved without YOU, our supporters, fundraisers, friends and believers. Many of our team are gifted students who give time for free to support us. These young people are a credit to their generation. Thank you all.
Sometimes trying to prove to people that the new, innovative and different can be achieved is an uphill struggle. For every supporter there is a doubter. That's why we do and will continue shout from the rooftops about something we firmly believe can make such a positive difference to so many peoples Lives.
The trustees and the KiteRight team wish you all a very HAPPY CHRISTMAS and hope that the new year brings everything you wish for.
Thank you all for your continued support. Next year is going to be something VERY special.
